Online Bible Study:

Welcome to the SC Ministires "online Bible Study." This is our attempt to reach out and challenge online viewers to dig deeper into their Bibles and glean the great blessings and riches that God has in store for you as you grow in your relationship with Christ. What I would like to do is share some personal experiences and life lessons and back them up with scripture. While I am certainly no scholared theologian, I hope that what you will find in this series of online studies is God-inspired and sound doctrinal (Biblical) teaching. Don't just take my word for it though. I challenge each of you to pick up your Bible and come to your own conclusions. I might answer some questions, but I am sure to raise many. I encourage you to do your own study and come to your own conclusions and life applications as only God can reveal to you.

Below you will find a series of "quick-links" for topical studies as well as in depth, verse by verse, exegetical studies of particular books, in which you will find verse by verse, chapter by chapter study notes. It is our prayer that there is something that encourages, inspires, or touches your heart through the ministering of God's word. Keep in mind these three basic principals for study.

#1 Be prayerful in everything. This includes Bible study. Allow God to open your eyes, ears, and heart to what He has to say to you. It's not what "I" am saying, it is what "He" is saying. I am simply a messenger.
#2 The Bible is the infallable word of God. God says what he means, and means what he says. If you have a problem with something written in the Bible, don't take it up with me, take it up with God.
#3 2nd Timothy 3:16 says: "All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It straightens us out and teaches us to do what is right." NLT

This online Bible study is NOT intended to replace your regular attendance at Church or with a small group study. The Bible clearly teaches us the importance of fellowship with other believers. It is my intent, however, to reach out to many who are "shut-ins" and are unable to attend a regular small group Bible study, or for those that travel extensively as part of their work or other requirements. The receiving of God's word is so important in our hectic lives, that noone should discount the value of spending regular time in His word.

Matthew 21

If you don't already have a realtionship Jesus personally and would like to receive Jesus Christ as your personal saviour, there's no predetermined "correct" way. It can happen in the privacy of your home, at your local church altar, along the side of the road in your car, or wherever the Spirit moves you. Romans 10:9 reads "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." NLT
Simply confess your sins to Him, acknowledge that the perfect One (Jesus) bore your sins on the cross at Calvary, and that Jesus died and rose from the grave and lives today! Accept Christ as your Saviour and give Him thanks for the abundant grace that he pours out for each of us, as He is the only one with the power to forgive us of our sins.

If you decided to make a commitment to Christ, feel free to drop us a note. We'd like to encourage you and pray with you. If you are in need of a Bible, or maybe need directed to a Bible-believing church in your area, please ask us. We don't have deep financial resources, but we can most definitely get you hooked up with good folks in your area who share our love for Christ and are wanting to help you in your walk.

In Christ,
Brian, Sarah, AJ, & Seth Carlson
