****When shipping an engine to CRE:

We need:
-- Engine packaged carefully with cardboard support or appropriate shipping container (we offer custom shipping crates)

--Name, Address, Phone number and any vital information about work to be done (inside package)

--ALL FUEL AND OIL DRAINED!!!!

We do not need:

--Engine covered in styrofoam peanuts
--Clutches
--Motor mounts
--Air Filters
--Dirty engines

--Insure package with UPS or FedEx for replacement value --It is very inexpensive and their claims dept. are efficient.
--We currently discourage the use of private carriers, DHL and the US post office.
--UPS and FedEx stop here regularly and haven't failed us yet.

****When receiving an engine from CRE:

Be sure to read all enclosed paperwork and information. There are specific instructions to follow with each engine and can often vary from one engine to another. You should have received a "congratulations page" with some basic engine information on it, an invoice for all parts and work performed, along with an engine "spec shet" with detailed information concerning your specific engine. You "may" also have received additional "break-in" instructions. Please be sure to read all of this information carefully and thoroughly.
